Automobili Lamborghini SpA, commonly known as Lamborghini, is an Italian sports car manufacturer founded in 1963 by the tractor manufacturer Ferruccio Lamborghini (1916-1993). According to legend, Lamborghini had amassed a large fortune. Passionate about sports, is installed in a tiny village called Santa Agata, Bologna, a few miles from Maranello to rival itsneighbor, Enzo Ferrari, following a dispute over the quality of their cars. The original company was called Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini SpA, which derived in turn from the
